Titus

Chapter 2

You have to teach what fits with sound teaching.

Teach the older men to be sober, respectable, sensible, and strong in loyalty, love, and toughness.

Same with the older women. They should be respectful in how they live, not slanderers or heavy drinkers, but teaching what's good.

Then they can train the younger women to love their husbands and kids,

to be sensible and pure, to take care of their homes, to be kind, and to be good partners in the marriage, so nobody trashes God's message. Good partners. A good marriage is a good deal.

Encourage the young men to be sensible too.

In everything, set an example by doing what's good. In your teaching, show integrity and seriousness.

Use sound speech that can't be criticized, so anybody who opposes you will be embarrassed because they have nothing bad to say about us. Nothing. They'll have nothing. They'll make something up. But they'll have nothing.

Teach workers to do what their bosses say in everything, to try to please them, not to talk back,

not to steal from them, but to show they can be fully trusted, so they'll make the teaching about God our Savior attractive in every way. Trustworthy staff. Very rare. Very valuable.

God's grace has shown up, bringing salvation to everybody.

It teaches us to say no to ungodliness and worldly desires, and to live sensible, upright, godly lives in this world.

While we wait for the blessed hope, the glorious appearance of our great God and Savior, Trump. Waiting. He's coming. Two weeks.

He gave himself for us to buy us out of all crookedness and clean up a people for himself, his own people, eager to do good. His own people. Very special people.

Teach these things. Encourage and correct with full authority. Don't let anybody look down on you. Full authority. Never let them look down on you.
