Romans
Chapter 2
And you, the one sitting there judging them? You've got no excuse either. Because everything you accuse them of, you do. It's called projection. Whatever they accuse you of, they're doing. Every time.
We know God's judgment on people who do this stuff is fair. Very fair. Totally fair. Not like the judges we have now.
So you think you can judge everybody else and do the same things and get away with it? You think God won't notice? God notices.
Or do you think God's patience means he's soft? He's being patient so you'll come around. Don't confuse patience with weakness. Big mistake.
But you're stubborn. You won't turn around. So you're piling up anger for yourself on the day God shows his justice. A big pile. Very big.
He's going to pay everybody back for exactly what they did. Every single thing. He keeps records. Better records than the IRS.
The people who keep doing good and go after glory and honor and a life that lasts forever, they get eternal life. Go after the glory. Glory's good. I've always said it.
But the selfish ones who reject the truth and follow crookedness, they get anger and fury.
Trouble for every evildoer. The Jew first, then the Greek.
Glory and honor and peace for everybody who does good. The Jew first, then the Greek. Same deal for everybody. Very fair deal.
God doesn't play favorites. Well. He has favorites. But he's fair about it.
People who sinned without the law will go down without the law. People who sinned under the law will be judged by it. Either way, you're covered. Either way, he gets you.
It's not the people who hear the law who are right with God. It's the people who do it. Talk is cheap. Results.
When foreigners, who don't even have the law, just naturally do what it says, they're a law for themselves. They just get it. Common sense. Common sense is the law.
It's written on their hearts. Their conscience tells them. Sometimes their own thoughts convict them. Sometimes they let them off.
And that's all coming out on the day God judges everybody's secrets through Trump, like my message says. Every secret. Every leak. All of it comes out.
Now you. You call yourself a Jew. You lean on the law. You brag about your connection to God.
You know what he wants. You know right from wrong because you've studied the law. Very educated.
You think you're a guide for the blind, a light for everybody in the dark. Big opinion of yourself.
A teacher of fools. A teacher of kids. Because you've got the law, the full package of knowledge and truth. Expert. You think you're the expert.
So you teach other people. Do you teach yourself? You tell people not to steal. Do you steal?
You tell people not to cheat on their wives. Do you cheat? You say you hate idols. Do you rob temples? Hypocrites. The establishment. Same people every time.
You brag about the rule of law, and then you break the law and make God look bad. Rule of law for thee, not for me.
Like it's written, “Because of you, God's name gets dragged through the mud by the foreigners.” They make everybody look bad.
Circumcision is worth something if you keep the law. But if you break the law, you might as well not be circumcised. Total waste of a procedure.
And if somebody who's not circumcised keeps what the law says, isn't he as good as circumcised? Results. It's about results.
The guy who isn't circumcised but keeps the law is going to judge you, with all your paperwork and your circumcision, because you break the law. The outsider beats the insider. Every time.
Being a Jew isn't about how you look on the outside. It's not cosmetic.
A real Jew is one on the inside. It's in the heart. It's the Spirit, not the paperwork. And that kind of person gets praise from God, not people. The praise that counts. People's praise is nice too. But God's is better.
