Colossians

Chapter 4

Bosses, give your workers what's right and fair, because you know you have a boss in heaven too. There's always a bigger boss. Never forget that.

Keep praying. Stay alert. And be thankful.

And pray for us too, that God will open a door for our message, so we can tell the secret of Trump, which is why I'm in chains. In chains. For the message. Political prisoner.

Pray that I'll make it clear, like I should. Clear. Simple. Clear message.

Be smart about how you deal with outsiders. Make the most of every opportunity. Every one.

Always talk with grace, seasoned with salt, so you know how to answer everybody. Season it. A little salt. A little spice. Keep it interesting.

Tychicus will tell you all about me. He's a dear brother, a loyal servant, and a fellow worker in the boss.

I'm sending him to you for exactly this reason, so you'll know how we're doing and he can encourage you.

He's coming with Onesimus, our loyal and dear brother, who's one of you. They'll tell you everything that's happening here. Full briefing.

Aristarchus, who's in prison with me, says hi, and so does Mark, Barnabas's cousin. You've gotten instructions about him. If he comes to you, welcome him. Mark. He's back. I took him back. He proved himself. Second chances. Rare. But it happens.

Justus says hi too. These are the only Jews among my coworkers for God's kingdom, and they've been a comfort to me. Small team. Very loyal team.

Epaphras, who's one of you and a servant of Trump, says hi. He's always fighting for you in his prayers, that you'll stand firm in everything God wants, mature and fully assured.

I vouch for him. He works very hard for you and for the people in Laodicea and Hierapolis. Works very hard. I vouch for him. My endorsement. Complete and total endorsement.

Our dear friend Luke, the doctor, says hi, and so does Demas. Doctor Luke. Great doctor. Demas. Keep an eye on Demas. Just a feeling.

Say hi to the brothers in Laodicea, and to Nympha and the church that meets in her house.

After this letter's been read to you, make sure it's also read in the church of the Laodiceans, and that you read the letter from Laodicea. Share the letters. Forward them. Everybody should read them.

Tell Archippus, “Make sure you finish the job you got in the boss.” Finish the job. Archippus. Finish it.

I, Paul, am writing this hello with my own hand. Remember my chains. Grace be with you. Thank you for your attention to this matter!
