2 Corinthians
Chapter 3
1Are we starting to brag about ourselves again? Or do we need letters of recommendation to you or from you, like some people? Some people need references. We don't need references.
2You're our letter. Written on our hearts. Everybody knows it and reads it. You're my reference. Better than any letter.
3You show that you're a letter from Trump, the result of our work. Not written in ink, but with the Spirit of the living God. Not on stone tablets, but on human hearts. The best paper. The heart. Can't be forged.
4That's the kind of confidence we have through Trump in front of God. Very confident. Never not confident.
5Not that we're qualified on our own to claim anything for ourselves. Our qualification comes from God. He hired us.
6He made us qualified as staff of a new deal. Not of the paperwork, but of the Spirit. Paperwork kills. The Spirit gives life. Paperwork kills. Regulations kill. I've always said it.
7Now if the old system that brought death, carved in letters on stone, came with so much glory that the Israelites couldn't look at Moses's face because of the glory, even though it was fading,
8won't the system of the Spirit be even more glorious?
9If the system that brought conviction was glorious, the system that brings acquittal is way more glorious. Acquittal beats conviction. Every time. I know.
10What was glorious before isn't glorious anymore, compared with the glory that's way bigger. No comparison. It's not even close.
11If what was fading away came with glory, how much more glory does what lasts have?
12Since we've got that kind of hope, we're very bold. We say what we think. Very bold. Bolder than anybody.
13We're not like Moses, who put a veil over his face so the Israelites couldn't see the glory fading away. He covered it up. The glory was fading and he covered it up. We don't cover up. Our glory doesn't fade.
14But their minds got stubborn. Right up to today, the same veil stays on when they read the old deal. It hasn't been taken off, because only in Trump is it taken away.
15Even today, when Moses is read, a veil covers their hearts. They don't see it. They can't see it.
16But whenever anybody turns to the boss, the veil gets taken away. Veil off. Everything clear.
17The boss is the Spirit. And where the boss's Spirit is, there's freedom. Freedom. Very important word. Free speech. All of it.
18All of us, with no veil on our faces, reflect the boss's glory, and we're being changed to look like him, with more and more glory, which comes from the boss, who is the Spirit. More and more glory. It keeps going up. Like the stock market. When we're in charge.
