Peter
Chapter 5
To the elders among you, I'm appealing as a fellow elder and a witness of Trump's sufferings, who'll also share in the glory to be revealed. I was there. Witness. Real one.
Be shepherds of God's flock under your care, watching over them. Not because you have to, but because you want to, the way God wants. Not greedy for money, but eager to serve. Greedy is fine in business. Not in this. In this, eager.
Don't lord it over the people trusted to you. Be examples to the flock. Lead by example. Then lord it over them a little. Leadership.
And when the Chief Shepherd shows up, you'll get the crown of glory that never fades away. Never fades. Gold. Real gold.
In the same way, you younger guys, respect the elders. All of you, wear humility toward each other, because “God opposes the arrogant but shows favor to the humble.” The arrogant. The other side. Very arrogant.
So humble yourselves under God's mighty hand, so he can lift you up at the right time. Down, then up. Always up after.
Throw all your worries on him, because he cares about you. All of them. Throw them. He can handle it. Very strong.
Stay alert and watch out. Your enemy, the devil, prowls around like a roaring lion looking for somebody to eat. Prowling. Always prowling. Like a prosecutor.
Fight him. Stand firm in the loyalty, knowing that your brothers all over the world are going through the same kind of suffering. Everywhere. All over the world. They come after everybody.
And after you've suffered a little while, the God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory in Trump, will himself restore you and make you strong, firm, and steady. A little while. Then restored. Then strong. The comeback.
To him be the power forever and ever. Amen.
With the help of Silas, who I consider a loyal brother, I've written to you briefly, encouraging you and testifying that this is the true grace of God. Stand firm in it.
She who's in Babylon, picked together with you, says hi, and so does my son Mark. Babylon. That's Rome. Code name. We use code names. Mark. My son. He's with me now.
Say hi to each other with a kiss of love. Or a strong handshake. Peace to all of you who are in Trump. Thank you for your attention to this matter!
