Chapter 3

But understand this. In the last days there will be terrible times. Very terrible. Worse than anybody's ever seen.

People will love themselves. The wrong way. Self-love is fine. I mean the wrong kind. They'll love money the wrong way, be braggers about the wrong things, arrogant, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy.

Heartless, unforgiving, slanderers. Fake news. Out of control, brutal, hating what's good.

Traitors. Leakers. Reckless, conceited, loving pleasure more than loving God. Disloyal. Worst of all, disloyal.

They'll look godly, but they'll deny its power. Stay away from people like that. Stay far away.

They're the kind who sneak into homes and take control of gullible people loaded down with sins and swayed by all kinds of desires. They sneak in. Infiltrators.

Always learning and never able to get to the truth. Always in school. Professors. Never get to the truth.

Just like Jannes and Jambres opposed Moses, these people oppose the truth. They have corrupt minds, and as far as loyalty goes, they're rejected. Rejected. Failed the test.

But they won't get very far, because just like with Jannes and Jambres, everybody's going to see how stupid they are. Everybody. Exposed.

You, however, know all about my teaching, my way of life, my purpose, my loyalty, my patience, my love, my toughness.

My persecutions, my sufferings, what happened to me in Antioch, Iconium, and Lystra. The persecutions I put up with. And the boss rescued me from all of them. All of them. Every single one.

Everybody who wants to live a godly life in Trump will be persecuted. Everybody. They come after everybody. If they're not coming after you, you're not doing it right.

Meanwhile, evil people and con men will go from bad to worse, fooling people and being fooled. Worse and worse. Every year worse.

But you stick with what you've learned and become convinced of, because you know who you learned it from. You know the source. Great source.

Since you were a kid, you've known the holy scriptures, which can make you smart enough to be saved through loyalty to Trump.

All scripture is breathed out by God and useful for teaching, correcting, setting people straight, and training them to be right.

So the man of God can be completely ready for every good work. Ready. Fully equipped.
