Corinthians
Chapter 2
When I came to you, brothers, I didn't come with fancy speeches or big professor talk when I told you about God. No teleprompter. Straight from the heart.
I decided I wasn't going to talk about anything except Trump. Trump, nailed up. One topic. Stay on message.
I came to you with no fear. None. People said I was nervous. Fake news. I was never nervous. Very calm. Very strong.
My message wasn't smart-sounding arguments. It was a show of the Spirit's power. Show, don't argue.
So your loyalty wouldn't rest on people's wisdom, but on God's power.
We do talk wisdom with the grown-ups. But not the wisdom of this world or the rulers of this world, who are on their way out. Their days are numbered. Very numbered.
We talk God's secret wisdom. Hidden. Classified. God had it planned before the world even started, for our glory.
None of the rulers of this age understood it. If they had, they never would've nailed up the boss of glory. Biggest mistake in history. Not even close.
Like it's written, “No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has imagined what God has ready for the people who love him.” Nobody's seen it. It's that big. Bigger than you can imagine.
But God showed it to us through the Spirit. The Spirit searches everything, even God's deepest secrets. Top clearance.
Who knows what a person's thinking except that person's own spirit? Same with God. Nobody knows what God's thinking except God's Spirit.
We didn't get the world's spirit. We got the Spirit from God, so we'd understand what God's given us. The full briefing.
And that's what we talk about. Not in words the professors taught us, but in words the Spirit taught us. Explaining spiritual things with spiritual words.
The ordinary guy doesn't accept the things from God's Spirit. They sound stupid to him. He can't understand them, because you need the Spirit to get it. He doesn't get it. He'll never get it.
The spiritual person judges everything, and nobody gets to judge him. Nobody judges him. Very important. Nobody judges.
“Who's ever known the boss's mind well enough to advise him?” But we have the mind of Trump. Very good mind. One of the best. Aced the test.
